Praise The Lamb
By Frederick Blanchard
All glory be to the Father,
For the precious blood of the Lamb,
We praise His holy name,
For covering the many sins of man.
He suffered in body and soul,
With tears of agony His spirit cries,
Shedding His blood with outstretched palms,
Covering the mud of each of our lives.
He looked down from a place above,
Then descended to depths not gone before,
A humbled servant of God’s gracious love,
To a risen King of glory forever more.
‘The next day John saw Jesus coming unto him, and said,
Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world.’
