By Tom D Blakely

No help I find I’ve plunged so low
Depression wields a savage blow
And darkness blinkers every view
There is no light in all I do.

Death my friend come closer still
That I might end this mental ill.
God help a man that wills to die
That he on Christ might then rely!

A taboo subject amongst Christians perhaps, but when I wrote this I meant it; God knows. God knows everything about us, all of our troubles, trials and pain. So instead of contemplating sinning against God, we should bring our troubles to Him in prayer and He will deal with them. Whatever our circumstances, He has allowed these to happen.
What is important is how we deal with them. Do we give in to sin or overcome?

‘And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God,
to them who are the called according to his purpose.’
[Romans 8:28]
