Take Nothing For Granted

Take Nothing For Granted
By Christine Hare Tate

Enjoy your life today
It drifts along so fast,
Don’t fret about the future,
Or dwell upon the past.

Stop and smell the roses
And when the sky is gray,
Count your many blessings
Don’t wish the time away.

Spend time when possible
With friends and family,
Because each passing moment
Soon becomes a memory.

Since God orders your steps
Be glad where you’re planted;
Appreciate God’s goodness
And take nothing for granted.
