Through Our Everything
By Frederick Blanchard
During times of health or sickness,
In moments of laughter or sorrow,
In periods of strength or weakness,
He is near, today and in our tomorrow.
Many intentions are either good or bad,
Displaying a look of anger or of pleasure,
Rejoice in the Lord always and be glad,
And with scales of love weigh and measure.
Overcome all aggression with gentleness,
Remembering we’re all created in God’s image,
Reign in the tongues of fire with words of holiness,
For we live now in the family of God’s lineage.
