All The Day Long

All The Day Long
By Christine Hare Tate

If I’m physically afflicted
God’s word comforts me…
In a whirlwind of emotions
In the spirit I am free!

In confidence I declare
That God’s word is enough…
I’ve seen God’s intervention
When the going gets rough!

I’ve come to understand
That no matter how I’m feeling,
God’s word brings relief,
Restoration and healing!

There is no doubt about it,
When I’m weak, I’m strong…
God’s grace is sufficient
All the day long!

‘Each time he said,
“My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.”
So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses,
so that the power of Christ can work through me.
That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses,
and in the insults, hardships, persecutions,
and troubles that I suffer for Christ.
For when I am weak, then I am strong.’
[2 Corinthians 12:9-10]
