It’s Dark Lord

It’s Dark Lord
By Doreen Margaret Higgs

Everywhere it’s dark Lord,
I can not find my way,
The darkness overpowers me,
I long to run away.
Everywhere there is noise Lord,
The noise confuses me,
I long to have some peace Lord,
From noise I want to flee.
I reach out for your hand Lord,
I feel that gentle touch,
You lead me through the darkness,
and give me peace at last.

I wrote this poem a few years ago when I had depression.
Praise the Lord He bought me through it.
If you are suffering now then hang on in there and search for God’s hand.
