The Midnight Hour

The Midnight Hour
By W A Zamorano
~

When Paul and Silas were in jail,
bound by a heavy chain,
they sang praises unto the Lord
and forgot about their pain.

Right in the midnight hour
God came with His Power.
The earth began to quake
and the building began to shake.

The doors flew open
and all the prisoners were free.
When the jailor fell on his knee,
God saved his entire family.

God is never late,
He is always on time.
He’ll come with His Power
right in the midnight hour.

When I was at the end of my rope,
and I had lost all hope;
my whole world had caved in
and I wanted to die.
I cried out to Him in my despair
and He was there.

He wasn’t too late.
He was just in time.
He touched me with His Power
right in my midnight hour.

If you find yourself in trouble,
or beset by some secret sin.
If you are heavy laden
and hurting deep within,
shout a praise to Him!

He won’t be too late.
He’ll come just in time.
He’ll come with His Power
right in your midnight hour.

If you are not certain of your salvation,
hurry, and do what the jailor did,
kneel down at Jesus feet.
Ask Him to forgive your sin
and He’ll come in.

He won’t be too late.
He’ll be just in time.
He’ll come with His Power,
and save you
right at the midnight hour.

When this world lies in darkness
and men’s hearts have grown cold.
When there are wars and rumors of wars
and earthquakes untold,
look up into the sky,
your redemption draweth nigh.

God is never late.
He is always on time.
He’ll come with His Power
right in the midnight hour.
