You Could Have Touched Someone Else (Part 2)
By Rita Broden
~

In the casket that we carried was the only son I had
A widow, now my son was gone as well,
Though my friends were all around me still I felt so all alone
The grief that I was feeling, words could never tell.

Then You came up to me, You told me, ‘Do not cry’
And with Your touch upon the casket, You spoke and my son did arise!

You could have touched someone else
But I’m so glad that You touched me
You could have walked along another road
But instead You passed by me
You didn’t have to look my way
But like Your Father above
When You could have touched someone else
You touched me out of love.

Thank you for touching me Jesus
Thank you for making me whole
Thank you for touching me Jesus
Thank you for saving my soul.
