God Is

God Is (acrostic)
By Frederick Blanchard

G lorious above all that there is,

Dimming even the sun’s brilliance.

O mnipresent, for He occupies all dimensions,

Those known and the undiscovered ones.

D eity, all powerful and is truly holy and divine,

Created all things by His astronomical design.

I mmeasurable, for who can measure infinity,

For His being is beyond our scope of eternity.

S upreme and righteous ruler yet remains approachable,

His law is set, perfect and unchangeable.

‘And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers has sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shall you say unto the children of Israel, I AM has sent me unto you.’
[Exodus 3:13-14]
