How Is God A Fair God?
By Tom D Blakely
The world is a rotten ship
On a miserable hell bound trip
The passengers are deluded by Satan
For he is their Old Man.
They do not question his word
For they too, are rebels to God
They are held spellbound by him
And shackled by their sin.
The lifeboat drawn alongside
Is a picture of Christ the Lord.
He has come to rescue man
According to the Father’s plan.
The righteous cannot be saved
The proud too, are enslaved.
Who then will come to Him?
Only those who repent of sin.
Is God a fair God? Many cry!
Why would He let good people die?
The lifeboat waits for all, yes all.
But most would rather die than heed God’s call.
Others wait until it becomes too late
Passing The Line spells their fate.
God sent His Son to die for our sin
God is a fair God, when we trust in Him.
‘There is none righteous, no, not one;
There is none who understands, there is none who seeks after God . .
Destruction and misery are in their ways. .
There is no fear of God before their eyes. .
There is no difference: For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.’
‘For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal
life in Jesus Christ our Lord.’
