Ill Winds

Ill Winds
By June Stein

Out of the blue an ill wind blows,
Temper and moods deflate the soul,
Try as one might to understand,
It’s not something easily done,
So you pull yourself in, to rest in Christ,
And then rely on the power of His might.

It changes nothing else but you,
But in His Love, you are renewed,
In Him, you can face things as they are,
Trying not to hold on to the wrong,
Just savoring the Love of the Savior,
Knowing to Him you belong.

And it is well with your soul.
