L eaving behind the past, present and future human anxieties,
Moving ahead, directed in the way by the compass of Jesus,
O verlooking perceived faults of others with a Christ like view,
Quickly forgiven those who trespass against us,
V ying for victory over our sin and selfish nature,
By placing the concern of others ahead of our own.
E xemplifying all the biblical fruits of the spirit.
Following the example of the Good Samaritan.
‘Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails…’
[1 Corinthians 13:4-8]
