MARANATHA (acrostic)
By Tom D Blakely

M orning breaks with a gilded sun

A cross the earth all shadows are gone

R eplaced by reflected shades of blue

A s whisps of cloud come into view

N othing now can be hidden away

A s earth awakes to this special day

T he voice of God heralds the dawn

H is people know their Lord has come!

A s all in Jesus are carried away, no more to pray, maranatha.

‘He which testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” Amen.
Even so, come, Lord Jesus!’
[Revelation 22:20]
