Another harvest’s gathered in
For this O Lord we thank You.
We are not forsaken nor beg bread
To us Your word is true.
Let us not waste nor lay up store
Of all that You have given,
But rather live that we might have
A treasure store in heaven.
The cattle on a thousand hills
Belong to their Creator.
The fields of corn the water springs
Reflecting heaven’s power.
We thank You for our daily bread
And all we need to serve You,
But bread of heaven Lord we seek
Our spirits to renew.
In Christ we find the bread of life
Abundant without measure,
So may we feed upon upon His words
And walk with Him forever.
Our heavenly Father knows our need
And He has made provision;
No hunger now nor thirst nor want
Christ is the Bread of heaven.
‘I am the bread of life: he that comes to me shall never hunger;
and he that believes on me shall never thirst.’
