Cup Your Hands

Cup Your Hands
By Frederick Blanchard

Cup your hands together,
In the pool of the Father’s love,
And cleanse your weary face,
From pains of the past altogether.

Then give thanks to the Holy One,
On the bended knee of gratitude,
For gracious granting of forgiveness,
And for eternal life found in His Son.

When the clouds of pain depart,
Victory in Jesus is clearly known,
Our soul’s burdens no longer heavy,
For they are carried within God’s heart.

Look upward into the countenance,
Of the Light of Glory in humble worship,
Feel His abiding warmth fill your soul,
Experience His healing touch with confidence.
