Blind Faith

Blind Faith
By Christine Hare Tate

Brother Abraham had faith,
When he packed up his family
And moved into the unknown
When the Lord said,”follow Me.”

Forsaking his own logic
And his human intuition,
He chose to trust the Lord
To bring His plan to fruition.

With blind faith in motion
Perhaps dodging objections,
Abraham proceeded to obey
And expect clearer directions.

Whenever we’re up against
Our “illogical” experience,
Let us remember those of faith
Who witnessed God’s deliverance!

[Genesis 12:1-7]
