By Tom D Blakely
I was a rebel I left my home
Through many cities I travelled alone.
Jesus was calling me to the fold
But on life’s pleasures my heart was sold.
I had some good times I had some bad
Sometimes was happy most times was sad.
Later the good times all disappeared
I was the rebel lost and afraid.
Then I remembered all that I’d done
How I’d rejected God’s only Son.
Just then I wondered could I be saved
After the foolish way I’d behaved?
God in His mercy showed me the way
I knelt before Him and started to pray.
Soon I repented from every sin
I came to Jesus I was forgiven.
