I’ll bulldoze down my little barns to make room for more grain
And the new ones that I then shall build will house more worldly gain.
For the only way to live these days is work for number one
The richest man I’ll be!
According to the word of God this man has missed the point
And when Christ returns to call His own he won’t be in that count.
Is he not the fool the Bible says that harvested much grain?
And died that night in vain.
No matter what a person has it comes to us from God
To ignore that fact, rejecting God, we’ll die as sin’s reward.
So accept with thanks God’s greatest gift: an offering for our sin
Choose Christ and be forgiven!
It’s good to thank the Living God when harvest time is come
For in everything we should give thanks for all that He has done.
And a thankful heart with praise for God He will most surely bless
With perfect peace and rest!
‘A rich man… thought to himself, What shall I do? I have no space to store my crops?’
Then he said, this is what I’ll do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones,
and there I will store all my grain and my goods… But God said to him, Fool!
This very night your life will be demanded from you.
Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?
This is how it will be with anyone who stores up things for himself
but is not rich toward God.’
