By Tom D Blakely
There’s a way that leads to man’s destruction
And the road is wide with many turns
Where a man may live for selfish pleasure
But it ends where the lake ever burns.
There’s a way that leads to man’s salvation
But this road is narrow and is straight
Where a man may live for Christ His Saviour
And it ends outside heaven’s open gate.
Many think that there must be another
For these roads are different to extreme
But the word of God will clearly show them
That they trust in a man’s idle dream.
‘Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.’
