I’m Dying

I’m Dying
By Tom D Blakely
~

I’m dying, I’m dying
And that is for sure.
Of old age I’m dying
And there is no cure.
Some may even miss me
Some may even mourn.
My death was predestined
The day I was born.

Thank God I am human
In His image made.
And not like a flower
That dies when it’s dead.
But made with a spirit
That never can die.
Because I know Jesus
I’ll live when I die.

You’re dying, you’re dying
And that is for sure.
Of old age you’re dying
And there is no cure.
Some may even miss you
Some may even mourn.
Trust Christ and be sure that
It’s heaven you’re goin’.

Jesus said: ‘I am the resurrection and the life,
he who believes in Me, though He may die, he shall live.’
[John 11:25]
