To Whom Do I Address?

When I am overcome by troubles and anxieties,
I can draw from His eternal taps.
Strength to the godly!
Freedom to captivity’s shackles…

To whom do I address my woes?
To whom do I owe my life?
Who knows when I was formed and how many the days of my life are?
Who is the one who orchestrates my path?

In You is our peace
Our being and our essence.
I would address to You in my right mind
For You are the only worthy King.

Eternity bows to You
In You we live and breathe and have our being…


‘God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands. Nor is He worshiped with men’s hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things.
