Through Eyes Of Faith
By Tom D Blakely
Through eyes of faith, I see a hill,
A place of death, a blood-stained tree.
I see a man, I see my God,
There suffer, bleed, and die for me.
In pain of flesh, and mind and soul,
He sorrows only for the lost;
As unto death, His love endures,
To meet in full, my ransom cost.
O Lamb of God, I see You still,
But not upon, a cross of shame;
Now lifted up, as King of kings,
Eternally, I’ll praise Your name.
‘And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself.’
