You Come, Lord

You Come, Lord
By June Stein
~

Whenever, Lord, I call to You,
Whatever I am going through,
You Come

In thunderstorm or lovely day,
In quiet room or troubled way,
You Come

In joy or sorrow, peace or strain,
In days of health, or greatest pain,
I only need to speak Your Name…
You Come

And so, in love and praise to You,
To be with You and worship You,
I Come

I cannot think what life would be,
Without Your love and care for me,
I Come

Whatever You would ask of me,
I would Your lowly servant be,
I Come

As long as I have life and breath,
Till finally, when facing death…
When Heaven, at last, is drawing near,

I‘ll call to You, my Savior dear…
I Come!
