The Harvest Is Plentiful

The Harvest Is Plentiful
By June Stein

The harvest for God is one of souls,
But many fields still lie untouched,
The need for workers in harvesting,
Is greater than the weak response,
Why are the blest so slow to respond?
To give of self is what Christ asks,
He freely went the way of the Cross,
Will we not freely take this task?

For those in the past, who were willing,
There were riches, still ours today,
Authority will be given to us,
Protection will be on our way,
The Lord said the people must be told,
“The Kingdom of God is near you.”
The need today is just as of old,
The Holy Spirit will guide you.

Jesus rejoices when we obey…
“Those listening to you will hear Me.”
He is our Life, our Truth and our Way,
And blessed are the eyes that see,
Those who welcome a child in His Name,
The Lord said, “will welcome Me”,
May we take up the task of harvest,
For His salvation, full and free!

“He told them,
“The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.
Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers
into His harvest field.”
[Luke 10:2]
