God’s Love For Us

God’s Love For Us
By June Stein

What is most important in life?
God’s love for us and our’s for Him,
He showed us that He first loved us;
He sent His Son to die for our sin,
How must we respond to God’s love?
Love one another through love for Him.

We know that no one has seen God,
But if we love one another,
God lives in us; love made complete,
As we live in Him, He is in us,
Because He gives us His Spirit,
We know the Son of God is Jesus.

We love because God first loved us,
If anyone says, “I love God,”
And yet hates his brother, he lies,
For if he does not love whom he sees,
He can’t love God, Whom he does not,
To love God, you must love your brother.

“We love because He first loved us.  If anyone says,
‘I love God,’ yet hates his brother, he is a liar.  For
anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen,
cannot love God, whom he has not seen.  And He has given
us this command:  Whoever loves God must also love his brother.”
[1 John 4: 19-21]
