What Am I Missing?

What Am I Missing?
By June Stein

Is something missing today?
Is it the presence of Christ?
For He is my Truth and Way;
In Him alone, is my life,
Without Him all days are bare,
No true joy or love, divine,
Through faith, He is always there,
Assuring me, “You are Mine”.

I should not be distracted,
I know I am His dear child,
May His strength be imparted
To faith that’s not meek and mild,
But mighty in Christ, to serve,
To eagerly share His Love,
A path without any swerves…
To my home with Him, above.

Though sin is always with us,
I find my hope in Jesus,
Confession and forgiveness,
Is mine through Christ my Savior,
Oh, the blessed assurance,
He won for us on the Cross,
Giving His life for our lives,
Forever saving the lost!

“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son,
that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world,
but to save the world through Him.”
[John 3:16-17]
