For Me!

For Me!
By June Stein

You suffered on the cross for me
And made my sin Your own,
You paid my ransom with Your blood
To make me Yours alone.
There is no merit in me Lord
To prove my worth to You,
Your eyes behold with mercy now
The selfish things I do.

I want to serve You faithfully
To give my very best,
For all that You have given me
And in You, find my rest.
Whatever You would ask of me
Is what I want to do,
I pray that You will help me Lord
To live my life for You.

Whatever You want me to do
My needs You will supply,
For anything required to serve
I’ll not ask, “How?” or “Why?”
To serve You is a joy, dear Lord
Your blessings fill my soul,
As every day, in every way
For me, in You I’m whole.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men… It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”
[Colossians 3: 23-24]
