Jesus The Good Shepherd

Jesus The Good Shepherd
By Marie C Neubauer
~

The door’s open
The way is strait
Leave all your doubts
Outside the gate.
With childlike faith
Just walk on through
The Good Shepherd
Is seeking you!

It’s God’s desire
Your life to bless
To find true peace
And happiness.
The door’s open
Just walk on through
The Good Shepherd
Will welcome you!

In Him find Life
Abundantly
Salvation’s gift
So full and free.
Christ is the Door
Just walk on through
The Good Shepherd
Will care for you!

In A Manger

In A Manger
By Christine Hare Tate
~

Few think of the shame
Mary and Joseph had to bear,

from gossiping tongues

spreading rumors everywhere!

Filled with grace from above
Mary accepted God’s will,
traveling afar on donkey’s back
God’s purpose to fulfill!

No room at the inn,
she was weary and worn,
and in a lowly manger

the Savior was born!

He came to save sinners
and at Christmas we recall,
that Jesus the Messiah
is the greatest gift of all!

But it doesn’t end there,
the Son of God lives on
long after Christmas Day
when decorations are gone!

Come let us adore Him,
the one who died for us…
the name above all names,
our Redeemer, Christ Jesus!!

Jesus Said Follow Me!

Jesus Said Follow Me!
By Tom D Blakely
~

Jesus leads and we will follow
All who know and love the Lord
From His path let us not wander
Trusting in God’s holy word.

Often we loose sight of Jesus
Leaderless we are so blind
All because we go our own way
Leaving Christ our Lord behind.

If we want His work to prosper
Jesus’ kingdom to abound
Jesus leads and we will follow
Not the other way around.

~

Jesus said:
“If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself,
and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.”
[Luke 9:23]

Hark!

Hark!
By Christine Hare Tate
~

Hark the herald angels sing,
to every tribe and nation,

proclaiming the birth of Christ

in triumphant jubilation!

Rejoice redeemed of the Lord

your sinful debt was paid,

reconciled with the Father

by the sacrifice Christ made.

Ring the chimes and bells

in glorious celebration….

our Savior came to earth

to procure our salvation.

Do Not Fear

Do Not Fear
By Marie C Neubauer
~

When we feel overwhelmed
And we don’t understand
Yet we know to reach out
And hold onto Christ’s hand.
We will walk in His strength
For we know He is near
Then we hear Jesus whisper…
My child, do not fear.

When we’re sad and alone
And feel nobody cares
We cry out to our Lord
Who lets us know He’s there.
When we pour out our heart
He will dry every tear
Then we hear Jesus whisper…
My child, do not fear.

In good times or bad
Christ is faithful and true
When we call out to Him
Peace our Lord will renew.
When we spend time in prayer
He will bless and will cheer
Then we hear Jesus whisper…
My child, do not fear.

Ask Anything!

Ask Anything!
By Tom D Blakely
~

Christ said to ask for anything
Yes, anything in prayer.
And anything means anything
Within our heart’s desire.
Let us not doubt the word of God
But simply take it in.
God’s word is truth that we can trust
That has the seal of heaven.

The natural man cannot prevail in prayer
The Holy Spirit gives us power.

~

When Jesus tells us anything
Trust God, His words are true.
And if we do not understand
The problem’s me and you.
Sometimes we don’t take time to pray
Or read the word of God.
Then take a verse from here or there
Which often causes doubt.

The natural man cannot prevail in prayer
The Holy Spirit gives us power.

~

Christ said to ask for anything
And that’s just what He meant.
These words are for those born again
For whom His blood was spent;
Disciples of the risen Lord
Who seek God’s glory first,
Who learn to pray in Jesus’ name
Receive all that they ask.

The natural man cannot prevail in prayer
The Holy Spirit gives us power…
The natural man cannot prevail in prayer
The Holy Spirit gives us power.

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.”
[John 14:12-14]

What Would I Do?

What Would I Do?
By Christine Hare Tate
~

Lord, what would I do without You,
what would I do?

Whether good or bad,

pleasant or sad,

You alone guide me through!

Lord, what would I do without You,
what would I do?
Your ways are higher than mine,
You always keep me in line,
I stand on Your word which is true!

Lord, what would I do without You,
what would I do?
You died to set me free
on a mount called Calvary,
Your will I shall pursue!

Lord, what would I do without You,
what would I do?
I’ve a reason to live,
bless others and give,
everyday Your mercies are new!

Lord, I’m glad you dwell with me
giving me eyes to see,
and ears to hear You speak…
Your will alone I seek!
